I am a reliable and hardworking Graphic Designer looking to launch my career through branding and marketing. I have hands-on expertise in the creative cloud using Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Lightroom and Flash. I am also proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). I am a recent graduate from Moravian College with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic and Interactive Design.
Why a Graphic Designer?
I love music – how it invokes emotion and creates an introspective state of mind. Music, for me, is a flight into creativity and imagination; a reflective sanctuary, where I can be alone with my thoughts and dreams. Alive in the moment……no past, no future and no worries.
During these deep and thoughtful times, I would spend hours, allowing my hand to freely put on paper all I was thinking. This is when, another love emerged. My love to make tangible, what my creative mind was dreaming. This is why I chose to be a Graphic Designer.
Without the ability to be creative, art would not exist. I continuously explore ways to allow my distinct creativity to emerge through my designs – to breathe life into my art. I do not limit myself to a single idea, trend or concept. Inspiration and perceptions change every day; therefore, I allow my mind to be an everchanging canvas with a myriad of color. I mold my designs around the balance of emotion and typography. If someone stops, even for a moment, to take in and reflect on my work, then I have achieved success.
